Jane chaired the Surface Design Department at the Southwest School of Art and Craft in San Antonio, Texas, from 1990 until May 2000. She is the author of 15 Beads, A Guide to Creating one-of-a Kind Beads, Complex Cloth and Improvisational Screen Printing. Jane Dunnewold
In 2000, a length of her art cloth won the Gold prize at the Taegu, Korea International Textile Exhibition. Her work has been exhibited in numerous invitational and juried exhibitions, including Quilt National (2000, 1997, '95, and '93), and Visions San Diego (2002, 1997, '95) where her quilt, Two Sides to Every Story won the Quilt Japan Prize. Dunnewold produces more than 100 one-of-a-kind lengths of fabric every year and maintains Art Cloth Studios in San Antonio, Texas.
